Sun Worshippers
This painting started with an idea: the
things that we indulge our time in is what we worship. The beach captures
this idea perfectly. The example I painted about was sun worship: how
much time is spent with body creams? Tanning lotions? Skin products
and the care spent in using them to their body enhancing capabilities
is what sun worship amounts to. But this a representation of many other
types of worship.
